TRAILER: ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Uncovers History’s Greatest Manhunt

'Zero Dark Thirty' covers the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man - Osama bin Laden.

MUMBAI: Columbia Pictures’ released the trailer of their American historical drama film ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Written by Mark Boal, the film features Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke and Joel Edgerton.

‘Zero Dark Thirty’ is the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man. The film is a dramatization of the United States operation that found and killed the leader of al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden.

The trailer of the film is quite intriguing, but doesn’t give anything away. ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ is shot in the deserts of Pakistan and revolves around how the secret CIA team trace Bin Laden and kill him.

Director Kathryn Bigelow who gave us the thrilling suspense film ‘The Hurt Locker’, does promise another potboiler suspense. Explaining the meaning of the name ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, Kathryn says, “It’s a military term for 30 minutes after midnight, and it refers also to the darkness and secrecy that cloaked the entire decade-long mission.”

‘Zero Dark Thirty’ which released in the U.S. last year received wide critical acclaim and was nominated for five Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Award nominations. The film is set to release in India on 15 February, 2013.
