The episode was all about Malcolm Merlyn trying to steal missiles with the help of Diggle’s brother Andy. Team Arrow gets to know about it and decides to send Andy to H.I.V.E as a secret agent which Oliver is unsure about. He still hasn’t come to terms of trusting him. Also, Andy has been a given a gun by Diggle for his safety purposes. Malcolm along with Assasins come to the bunker to get idol and missiles but find Team Arrow guarding it. The fight begins where Thea couldn’t harm Malcolm and he escapes. After all the fight, Damian Darhk captures Andy in order to get the Team Arrow. The team reaches at the place where Andy has been held hostage to find out that Damian knows the entire team’s real identities. That came as a shock to every only because it was Andy who told that Spartan was, in fact, his brother. From there, Darhk figures out everything including Black Canary is Laurel Lance, Captain Lance’s daughter. Damian to take vengeance against Captain Lance’s betrayal, he stabs Laurel will the arrow that was aimed by Green Arrow for him.
The Green Arrow lifts Black Canary and runs her to the emergency room where he finds a doctor who is ready to help them. Everyone meets Laurel after she gains conscious. She tells Oliver that he should find his way back to Felicity as she is the love of his life like Oliver was her love. Few moments later, Laurel suffers from major seizure from which she couldn’t survive. Yes, it’s true. The grave that we have been seeing for a while now is of Laurel Lance. Oliver extremely shocked by this walks away from her towards the hallway of the hospital only to see Captain Lance. He sees Oliver‘s stunned face and breaks down to lose her daughter.
The producers had promised that major character will die this season and it is none other than Laurel Lance. Rest in Peace, Black Canary. You will be missed.[/tps_footer]
