MUMBAI: The winners of the 65th Golden Globe Award winners were announced recently. The Best Motion Picture – Drama was bagged by Atonement (Working Title Films Limited; Focus Features). The best Performance by an actress and actor in a motion picture – drama were bagged by Julie Christie (for Away From Her) and Daniel Day-Lewis (for There Will Be Blood) respectively.
Sweeney Todd was adjudged the Best Motion Picture – Comedy Musical. Best Performance by an actress in a motion picture – comedy or musical went to Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), whereas Johnny Depp bagged the Best Performance by an actor in a motion picture – comedy or musical for his performance in Sweeney Todd. Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille bagged the Best Animated Feature Film.
