MUMBAI: Disney Interactive Studios announced Jean-Marcel Nicolai as Senior Vice President, global production. He will oversee Disney’s worldwide video game production including the company’s five internal development studios, externally developed projects and future studio expansion.
Nicolai will be based at Disney headquarters in Glendale, Calif. reporting to Disney Interactive Studios executive vice president and general manager Graham Hopper.
Nicolai comes to Disney Interactive Studios after seven years with Atari, the U.S. division of Infogrames Entertainment, where he was responsible for leading and managing five internal studios, external product development, production support and technology development in the dual role of senior vice president, product development and chief technology officer.
Hopper said, “Jean-Marcel’s deep experience in the video game and technology sectors makes him a strong leader and an ideal addition to our executive team.”
