Mumbai: Beverly Hills 90210’s star Shenae Grimes’s movie The Cross Road is debuting to the world’s television buyers at MIPCOM.
The Cross Road follows the challenges faced by a teenage girl when she falls in love with a Syrian boy in a paranoid, post-911 America. This is Grimes’s first film since landing the role of Annie Wilson on the teen drama series Beverly Hills 90210.
"Grimes is an extremely gifted young actress," said Alexandra Thompson, writer and director of the film. "This is not an easy script to work with. There are a lot of emotional demands made on the characters and Grimes was amazing in rising to the challenge."
Other actors in the film include Garen Boyajian and Bruce Gooch. The film was produced by Jordana Aarons.
The film runs a TV-hour length at 48 minutes and all television rights and territories are currently available.
