MUMBAI: Global music merchandising company Bravado has partnered with Susan Boyle to create merchandise in support of her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, and upcoming world tour.
Bravado CEO Tom Bennett said, "Susan Boyle has come out of nowhere to be one of the most important debut artists of the last six months. We are excited to work with her to translate her undeniable appeal to a wide range of merchandise."
Boyle first shot to stardom during an appearance as a contestant on the UK’s Britain’s Got Talent, which catapulted her to fame as a YouTube viral sensation. Her videos became YouTube’s most viewed, setting a record with over 100 million views. Ultimately, she was not the program’s winner, but she did earn a contract to record on Simon Cowell’s Columbia Records imprint, Syco. Her album I Dreamed a Dream, debuted at number one in its first week and broke a longstanding record for highest debut for a female recording artist with over eight million units sold to date.
