MUMBAI: Crayola, LLC and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have formed a licensing partnership bringing kids’ favorite Warner Bros. characters to Crayola’s popular line of art activities. The properties include Green Lantern, Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo and will be featured on Crayola’s Giant Coloring Pages, Color Explosion and Mess-Free Color Wonder lines.
"Partnering with Warner Bros. Consumer Products adds to the fun, adventure and wonder that Crayola products inspire in kids. Like Crayola, Warner Bros. characters are multi-generational and are enjoyed by parents just as much as their children,” said Crayola vice president, portfolio marketing Victoria Lozano.

Coming to stores in summer 2011, Crayola’s Color Explosion line will feature Green Lantern, highlighting the upcoming feature film and animated series, in the Crayola Color Explosion Green Lantern Deluxe Set. With Color Explosion, kids can create wild multi-colored effects on black paper with a single marker. Each page of the Green Lantern book will feature line art of the heroic characters that kids can transform into dozens of different colors with one swipe of a Color Explosion marker. They can also personalize their creations with 20 Green Lantern-themed stickers and 52 glow-in-the-dark stickers. Suggested retail for the Crayola Color Explosion Green Lantern Deluxe Set is $9.99.
Bugs Bunny, Tweety and Taz will make their way to the Crayola Looney Tunes Giant Coloring Pages in fall 2011. With lots of space to color oversized versions of their favorite Looney Tunes characters, kids can have hours of coloring fun! The Crayola Looney Tunes Giant Coloring Pages will be available at Wal*Mart stores for a suggested retail price of $4.99.
Children can unleash their imaginations while coloring their version of the loveable hijinks-maker Scooby-Doo with Crayola Scooby-Doo Giant Coloring Pages. These gigantic coloring sheets, measuring 19 1/2” x 13 1 /2”, give kids lots of space to color oversized line art of Scooby, Shaggy and their favorite friends from the hit TV series. The Crayola Scooby-Doo Giant Coloring Pages will be available at retailers in the U.S and Canada in spring 2012 for a suggested retail price of $4.99.
For young mystery marvels 3 and up, Scooby-Doo will also be featured on a 24-page Crayola Scooby Doo Mess-Free Color Wonder Coloring Book. The special-edition expansion book works with Crayola Color Wonder Mess-Free markers and paints, sold separately. The partnership will also grant Crayola the rights to develop exciting, colorful products featuring DC Comics super heroes, Batman, Superman and DC Super Friends, as well as Happy Feet 2, at retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
