Mumbai: GDC Technology has signed a digital cinema server contract with Harkins Theaters, the cinema chain in North America. The contract involves the deployment of nearly 400 SX-2000A Digital Cinema Servers with Integrated Media Block (IMB), and is scheduled for completion by November 2011.
“It’s very encouraging to be entrusted to digitalize the entire circuit for such a renowned theatre chain as Harkins. It is a long term partnership that we truly appreciate and we’re confident that it will be fruitful for all involved, especially Harkins’ moviegoers,” said GDC Tech founder and CEO Dr. Man-Nang Chong.
