LONDON: The Mega star of ‘Notting Hill’ , Hugh Grant donates $22,400 into a journalism charity.
The 51 year old actor made his presence at an auction, cooperating in the aid of ‘The Journalism Foundation’, which advocates free and independent journalism throughout the world.
He successfully bid $22,400 for a three-day golf holiday at Scotland’s famous St. Andrews Links, reported Contactmusic.
Other guests at the event which include Mick Jagger’s ex wife Jerry Hall and Grant’s former lover Jemima Khan raised a total of $240,000.
Grant has pioneered in a campaign for a reform of the press in his native UK.
