IFACT-GC donates 120 movie DVDs to HK quarantine centres

MUMBAI: International Federation Against Copyright Theft-Greater China (IFACT-GC) executive director and general manager Sam Ho presented 120 DVDs to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The DVDs, featuring the latest blockbuster movies from Motion Picture Association member companies, will be distributed to Hong Kong quarantine centres to provide entertainment to people undergoing quarantine.

"We hope that the discs will be watched by as few people as possible but that they help make quarantine as pleasant as it can possibly be for anyone who undergoes quarantine," said Ho.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department expressed sincere gratitude for the donation of the DVDs, commenting that it was encouraging to see that all in Hong Kong, including socially responsible organizations like IFACT-GC, were making a contribution in different ways in the fight against the new virus.
