“We don’t expect to be selected for Venice, because they only select 20 films for competiton, but we expect to make a presentation during the Deauville festival, whether we are selected for competition or not,” said Imperia Entertainment chairman Kenneth Eade.
The Deauville Film Festival, held in Deauville, France, was established in 1975, and is open for American films only. Say it in Russian has also been entered in the Chicago, Austin, St. Louis, and AFI Film Festivals. “We plan to screen the film in conjunction with the festivals as part of our marketing strategy,” said Eade.
