Word Entertainment launches online Youth music vault

MUMBAI: Word Entertainment has launched a new online music-based program resource, Youth Music Vault, providing digital delivery of teaching curriculum and more to youth pastors and leaders across the globe. To unveil the launch, Youth Music Vault is hosting a private concert event for youth leaders at Disney’s annual Night of Joy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios near Orlando, Fla. this week.

Developed to supply timely and accessible materials to those mentoring youth in a classroom or organizational setting, Youth Music Vault is the youth leader’s all-digital, one-stop shop for relevant, music-based program resources. For a $59.99 annual fee, subscribers will receive six bi-monthly issues, each focused on a different artist and their latest CD. Each issue of Youth Music Vault will include MP3s of the featured artists’ entire CD, Bible studies based on those songs, an illustration video, a video greeting by the artist, music videos, interviews and an online chat with the artist. Chord charts, an instructional video, artist posters, game ideas and helpful articles provided by Youthworker Journal will round out the contents of this one-of-a-kind package deal.

"Our team, under the experienced direction of Kandice Weaver, director of marketing, and Tim Holt, director of new media technology, has been working for the last two years to develop the perfect program for youth pastors. Youth Music Vault is the first all-digital resource of its kind, and we hope it will enable youth workers to minister more effectively to their students by using these fresh and ground-breaking resources," says Word Label Group senior vice president of channel marketing Tim Marshall.

To celebrate the site’s launch, youthmusicvault.com will host a private concert for youth leaders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Artists scheduled to perform include Big Daddy Weave, Francesca Battistelli, Meredith Andrews, new Word Records signing Satellites & Sirens, and illusionist Brock Gill.

"Word Entertainment is grateful to Disney’s Night of Joy for helping us express our gratitude for youth pastors and the work they do to positively impact today’s youth. The Disney team has been instrumental in helping us facilitate and promote this special event, which in turn will showcase our Youth Music Vault program to hundreds of youth pastors whom we hope will greatly benefit from this innovative service," says Word Entertainment vice president of branding and merchandising Leigh Holt.
