ReelTime.com inks 40-film deal

MUMBAI: ReelTime.com – the video-on-demand broadband network has collaborated with Maxim Media International to license forty films from Maxim’s Brain Damage Films of horror and gore films. The company will add an additional ten films a month to its library during the term of the agreement.

The announcement was made by ReelTime president and COO Beverly Zaslow at MIPCOM.

ReelTime.com offers video streaming that appears onscreen within seconds, plays full screen (not in a small window) and in DVD quality. The proprietary technology is considered unique in that it is a ‘point, click and watch’ system where nothing can ever be pirated or copied.

Said Zaslow, “Horror has proven to be one of our most viewed genres on our service, and this niche is an important part of our business model. Brain Damage Films is known as the ultimate source for horror, and we’re pleased to add it to our library.”

Brain Damage Films, President, Darrin Ramage added, “Horror is here to stay, and ReelTime’s digital rights management provides the perfect solution for making our films available to viewers worldwide, without the possibility of piracy. We know our titles will be secure and will look great on ReelTime.”
