MUMBAI: Actors Dev Patel and Freida Pinto of the award-winning film, Slumdog Millionaire, will be guests on The Ellen Degeneres Show on 14 January. The daytime talk show airs at different times on different channels across the US.
The stars will join actor Dustin Hoffman and singer Seal on this episode.
Also starring Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, Slumdog Millionaire in the past few days has won four Golden Globe Awards including Best Picture – Drama as well as five Critics’ Choice Awards including Best Picture. The film may also receive multiple Academy Award nominations next week.
This past weekend, Slumdog Millionaire opened in the United Kingdom at number 2 at the box office. The Danny Boyle-directed film releases in India next week on 23 January.
