MUMBAI: Slumdog Millionaire has secured a slot as one of the 20 major foreign movies that China will import this year.
Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire has cleared the Chinese censors. The director will attend the movie’s premiere in Beijing on 25 March.
According to media reports, the movie is going to be released across 2,000 theaters in China on 26 March.
Slumdog Millionaire stars Dev Patel, Frieda Pinto, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. It has won eight Oscars and a host of other awards.
