MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) has announced the promotions of Brian Gartland to executive director of retail promotions and Maria Nunez to director, retail merchandizing.
The duo will report to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment vice president of retail promotions and merchandising Noam Meppen.
In his new role, Gartland will lead the SPHE Retail Promotions team, overseeing all promotional activity and marketing at the retail level. Nunez will continue to focus on in-store merchandising and execution, ensuring successful product placement and sell-through at retail.
Meppen said, "Brian has developed a variety of tools to improve processes and inter-departmental communication and he successfully negotiated new vendor contracts to save the company millions of dollars per year in expenses. I am pleased to acknowledge his leadership and contributions to SPHE with this promotion."
