Lambert will report directly to Universal Music Publishing Group president North America Evan Lamberg.
"Brian Lambert is one of the most prominent creative executives, and leaders, within the Film & TV industry and continues to drive success for Universal Music Publishing. He and his staff are the best in the business and this is a very well deserved promotion," said Lamberg.
"I’m proud to play such a key role in representing the greatest catalog in the business, and I’m lucky to have the best Film & TV Music department around. The synchronization business is an increasingly vital part of our revenue and we pride ourselves on bringing these opportunities to our (UMPG’s) amazing artists, writers and catalogs. I truly look forward to working closely with Evan Lamberg as we move into the next phase of UMPG," said Lambert.
Reporting into Lambert will be the U.S. Film & TV Creative, Licensing, and Clearance teams.
Prior to joining Universal, Lambert spent a collective six years as Vice President of Advertising, Film & Television Music for Zomba Music Publishing/Jive Records and BMG Music Publishing respectively.
