MUMBAI: Universal Studios Hollywood has appointed Xiomara Wiley as senior vice president, marketing and sales, with responsibilities for the overall brand direction of the entertainment landmark including the theme park and the CityWalk shopping and entertainment complex.
Universal Studios Hollywood president COO Larry Kurzweil said, "Xiomara is a true marketing professional with especially strong analytical skills and an extreme knowledge of our industry. As we navigate through a challenging economic climate, her skill and insight will play a vital role in ensuring that our company flourishes and that we continue to build The Entertainment Capital of L.A. brand."
Prior to joining Universal Studios Hollywood, Wiley held increasing levels of responsibility within the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts organization, where she most recently served as vice president, marketing for the Disneyland resort.
