MUMBAI: Warner Bros. Entertainment has appointed Ann Calfas as senior vice president & chief employment counsel. The announcement was made by Warner Bros. executive vice president & general counsel John Rogovin.

In her new post, Calfas will serve as lead employment counsel for all of Warner Bros.’ businesses worldwide, supervising a team of attorneys focused on this area of law. Based in Burbank, Calfas will report directly to Rogovin.

"Ann brings invaluable expertise and experience in employment matters in the entertainment industry, and comes to us with a strong track record of leadership in her field," said Rogovin. "She’s an outstanding addition to our senior team, and I look forward to working with her."

Prior to joining Warner Bros., Calfas served as SVP, Employment Litigation for Fox Entertainment Group where she oversaw employment matters for all of the Fox companies. Before making the move in-house in 1994, Ann was part of the Labor and Employment Law Department at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Los Angeles.
