Mumbai: Warner Bros. has promoted Robert A. Fisher to Executive Vice President, Financial Investments, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced by Warner Bros. Pictures president, worldwide business affairs Steven S. Spira.
Fisher, who moves up from Senior Vice President, Financial Investments, a post he has held since 1994, will continue to spearhead Warner Bros. Pictures’ film financing activities and also continue to work with various government agencies on the development and implementation of policies promoting film production.
"Bob has been a pioneer for not only our company but for our entire industry in the creation and crafting of innovative financing deals that best take advantage of production opportunities," said Spira. "I congratulate Bob on this well-deserved promotion and am pleased that we will continue to benefit from his cumulative experience and singular expertise in this highly-complex but critical area."
