MUMBAI: Television and film star William Shatner will be presenting Weird or What?, the all-new TV series that explores the world’s strangest and most fascinating mysteries, at MIPTV.
“Our show is weird, wonderful and yes, a little wacky. And if the true-life mysteries of our world interest you, then this is your adventure,” Shatner says.
Produced by Cineflix Productions, Weird or What? will be distributed internationally across all territories except USA by Cineflix International. Cineflix Programming CEO Simon Lloyd, William Shatner and Rod Parker are executive producers.
Actor Shatner has logged an impressive 50-plus years in front of the camera. On television, he starred as the legendary Captain Kirk on Star Trek in the 1960s, a streetwise cop on T.J. Hooker in the 1980s, and most recently as a master litigator on both The Practice and Boston Legal. On the big screen, Shatner starred in seven Star Trek films, and has since honed his comedic talents in blockbusters including Airplane 2: The Sequel, Loaded Weapon, and Miss Congeniality.
