MUMBAI: Barefaced Liar (BFL) launched their debut album Barefaced Liar at the Hard Rock Café, Mumbai.
The band members include Akshay Chowdhry (Vocals, Guitars), Sumant Balakrishnan (Guitars, Vocals), Dushyant Purohit (Bass) and Tushar Goyal (Drums). The album Barefaced Liar is an eclectic combination of twin guitar offensive, haunting bass lines and thumping rhythms. After their performance in Hyderabad, Bangalore, New Delhi and Pune, this was Barefaced Liar’s fifth performance.
Formed in 2002, the band is influenced by bands and artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, SRV, Hendrix and Metallica while leaning towards a more modern sound in the style of Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.
