Mumbai: BIG 92.7 FM Hyderabad will support the May 3rd KO light mat LO ‘Hyderabad Unplug’, a voluntary campaign urging Hyderabad’s citizens to turn off the lights and unplug electrical devices for an hour on 3 May from 7.30 to 8.30 pm. The awareness will be created through a wholesome programming mix put together both on-air and on ground.
Hyderabad Unplug campaign will spread awareness on the adverse effects of global warming. RJ Shekar who hosts the BIG Sandadi show will be actively involved in spreading awareness with his huge fan following. The awareness drive which has begun on the radio station will run up to 3 May and will seek full support and participation from its listeners.
‘Hyderabad Unplug’ aims to kindle awareness about global warming among the citizens and serving institutions of Hyderabad and inspires them to take a small step towards addressing the climate crisis by turning off the lights for an hour.
BIG 92.7 FM through this noble association strives to create awareness among its listeners ; especially the young adults, that judicious use of electricity will not only reduce the impact of global warming, but also promote equitable power distribution for rural areas.
