MUMBAI: Goa State Aids Control Society (GSACS) will be hosting the Chak De Aids Awareness Entertainment Evening on 14 December at the Campal Football Ground, near Kala Academy, Panjim. Big 92.7 FM will be organizing this concert in order to spread awareness on AIDS in Goa by conceptualizing and putting together an evening which will entertain and educate at the same time. The concert is free for all.
GSACS, Project Director, Dr. Dilraj Kaur said “GSACS aims to spread awareness amongst the much at risk youth who are increasingly getting into the fold of HIV infection, when they should be economically and socially most productive.”
The event will be hosted by TV actress Rakshanda Khan and will feature performances by Vaishali Samant and stand-up comedian Naveen Prabhakar Also, the star cast of the Yash Raj film Chak De India! will be flying down to Goa especially to be part of this concert. In addition Big 92.7 FM RJs Prince Jacob and Eknath will spread the message of AIDS awareness during the concert.
