LG Electronics unveiled its latest innovation in the plasma TV business with great fanfare that featured performances by Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan and London-based magician Tariq Knight.
The company launched the world’s slimmest TV, LG Edge, in the Middle East and Africa at an event held at Dubai’s Radisson Creek Hotel. LG’s PG60, the sleekest TV in the world and winner of CES ‘Best Innovation Awards 2008’ recently held in Las Vegas, is the first TV to incorporate single-layer technology, creating a seamless, frameless look.
The mega launch was accompanied by a performance by Sunidhi Chauhan. In 2001, she was honoured with the R. D. Burman award for the Best Promising New Singing Sensation.
The singer has captivated music lovers the world overs by lending her voice to popular compositions such as Dhoom Machale (Dhoom), Ruki Ruki (Mast), Deedar De (Dus) and Beedi (Omkara).
