Mumbai: The makers of Chandni Chowk To China (CC2C) recently unveiled songs and clippings of the movie. They showed 25 minutes of footage from the film to media and film trade.
The footage gave a glimpse of three songs from the film, Akshay Kumar’s kung fu skills, Kumar at the Great Wall Of China and much more.
The film’s music album has a song titled India Se Aaya Tera Dost, which has been recreated by Baapi Lahiri from his earlier song Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. Kumar has rapped in a song CC2C. The film’s music is rendered by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Lahiri, Kailash Kher Naresh Paresh and Bohemia.
Present at the event were actors Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Ranvir Shorey, director Nikhil Advani, producer Rohan Sippy, Warner Bros India country manager Blasie Fernandes, Ramesh Sippy, writer Shridhar Raghavan, T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar and T-Series’ Kishen Kumar, Mahadevan, Lahiri and Kher.
The film releases worldwide on 16 January. Warner Bros India, the worldwide distributors of the film, are planning to release the film in 1400 screens in India, 250 screens in the US, thus making it the widest Hindi film release there and also enter into countries such as Japan, Germany and Scandinavian countries like Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Norway.
If all goes well the film will even see a five-country premiere in Los Angeles, New York, London, Dubai and India.
