Hello FM establishes in Puducherry

MUMBAI: Hello 106.4FM has launched its sixth station in Puducherry by going on air from 23 December. This station will also be maintaining the same frequency as its other radio stations. 
 
On the launch day the radio station also gave away 1064 gold coins to winners throughout the day. Hello FM already has five operational stations across Tamil Nadu. 
 
Hello FM COO Rajeev Nambiar said, “Puducherry with its large Tamil speaking population is a good radio market. With the launch of this radio station we will be able to provide an excellent platform for advertisers all over India to effectively reach their target audiences down south through radio. We are also planning to launch our radio station in Tiruchirapalli very soon.” 
 
The company’s Executive Vice President, Ramesh added, “With the launch of this station we will be one of the largest radio station in Tamil Nadu. This will also provide us a platform to extend our listener base to reach pan Tamil Nadu. We hope to entertain our audiences in all these cities with the best of programs. The content for this radio station will be in accordance to the mood and spirit of the Puducherry.” 
 
The company’s Marketing Head, Charles stated, “We will be rolling out a lot of marketing activities to promote Puducherry radio station effectively. Hello FM has taken the radio market on storm for the past few months now. We hope to increase our listener ship with this launch. We hope to create a lot of brand visibility by this launch and are looking forward to engage effectively with our listeners here.”
