MUMBAI: Music director and producer Shravan Rathod was honoured with the Shanti Prakash Agarwal Patrakar Puruskar 2007 award at a function held on 19 February 2007 in Mumbai.

He received the award for his dedication and contribution to films and media. Television and film fashion designer Nisha Sagar, also received an award on the occasion.

The awards were instituted 16 years ago by the Lions Club of Vile Parle East, under the Lions Club International District 323-A3. The primary aim of the awards is to honour a journalist every year for good, clean and realistic reporting and dedication to the fourth estate.
