Mumbai: Radio Mantra, 91.1 FM Agra celebrated its first birthday on 8 July.
This one-year journey has not been that smooth as it sounds, the team came across many obstacles but with its determined spirit, it overcame these obstacles and gradually rocked the entire city.
Programming head, Kanwar Sameer says "This day last year, two historic events happened. Taj was crowned as ‘one of the new seven wonders of the world’ and Radio Mantra came into existence. I am thankful to the listeners for showering their love on us and making us the most loved radio station of Agra. The right programming mix was a bit challenging, initially, but few tweaks here and there made it absolutely what city has been longing for."
Celebration of 1st Birthday

In the on-air contest, the listeners are asked to share their feelings of 1st ever experienced emotions, for instance, when they 1st drove a car or the 1st time when anyone proposed to you. In return, they get to win fabulous gifts; also, the fortunate ones will be invited in the exclusive Mantra’s birthday party at night. In addition, one gets a special cake, if their birthday or anniversary coincides with Radio Mantra.
On-ground
Various interactive activities like Flashmob, where Bikers along with Radio Mantra branded Innova had covered strategic locations to interact with people and celebrate its first anniversary along with the listeners; interactive activities in TDI Mall were conducted where listeners could win exclusive prizes from Mantra team. These mantra branded prizes include key chains, goody bags and watches and above all a lucky winner to win a canon digital camera. RJs of Radio Mantra too were present at the location.
Radio Mantra had thrown an evening party comprised of Radio Mantra people, Dainik Jagran, Radio Mantra clients and others. Radio Mantra director Rahul Gupta thanked the listeners for giving an overwhelming response coupled with a consistent on air quality.
