MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi, which broadcasts on a common frequency of 98.3 FM across the country, will soon be launched in Vizag. The radio station is currently operational in 24 cities in India including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Jalandhar, Patna, Pune, Rajkot, Baroda, Bhopal, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Nasik, Goa, Aurangabad, Surat, Kolhapur, Madurai and now in Vizag.
After the commencement of operation in Vizag, Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) – Radio Mirchi will roll out seven more radio stations by the end of this year, taking the total to 32 stations.
Radio Mirchi’s mix of shows to be aired comprise the morning show, ‘Kapi chaai’, to be followed by Hello Vizag – the breakfast show by Kalyani; Ladies Colony, a ladies show; Matinee show, for the latest Tollywood gossip; Bumper to Bumper – the evening show with wild and wacky take on daily happening and weird stuff; Mirchi Gold – all about flash back melodious Telugu songs; Dr. Love for love dedications, messages for friends, lovelorns and more.
