Radio One dedicates weekly show for Marathi music

MUMBAI: 94.3 Radio One will introduce first of its kind initiative for Marathi music listeners in Mumbai.

Starting 18 July, every week 94.3 Radio One will play Top 13 Marathi songs. The special will also feature interviews with prominent Marathi artists, singers, lyricists and on their favorite music.

Radio One station head – Mumbai Bavesh Janavlekar said, "At 94.3 Radio One, we strongly believe that good quality music has no boundaries and this can be seen through our initiatives. We are India’s first music station which promotes different genres of music along with the popular Bollywood music. We have always believed in giving our listeners quality music which exists across genres. With this top 13 Marathi song we are truly living up to the brand promise of giving our listeners Maximum music. Maximum choice."

Radio One also recently associated with the national award winning singer composer duo, Ajay-Atul for their concert held in May.
