MUMBAI: Saregama has acquired the music rights of UTV Spotboy’s No One Killed Jessica.
No One Killed Jessica is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and stars Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan.
The film is a political thriller, set in New Delhi and is based on the controversial Jessica Lal murder case.
While Balan plays the character of Jessica’s elder sister – Sabrina Lal, Mukherjee plays a reporter in the film.
The music of the film is composed by Amit Trivedi who had earlier given the music for Dev D.
The film is slated to release on 7 January, 2011.
