Sharon’s ‘Dilruba’ wins silver at NY Fest

MUMBAI: A music video from Sharon Prabhakar’s new album Dilruba has recently bagged the silver award at the New York festival.

According to a release, the video, created by Rajtaru Studios and Sarra Unlimited and directed by Shehnaz Nadirshah, features television actor Akashdeep Saigal. Dilruba was released by Raga To Rock Records.

The title song Dilruba, created by Tauseef Akhter and penned by Sameer, is an Arabic hip hop song. The other tracks in the album are a collection of Sharon’s favorite songs, including one that reportedly initiated the singer to the world of music.
