MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has released a series of Ultimate Unremix that features the original songs of veteran singer Mahendra Kapoor. The two DVD pack of 50 songs features 25 solo songs in volume I and 25 duets of Mahendra Kapoor in volume II.
The first copy of this DVD was presented to Mahendra Kapoor on his 74th birthday (9 January) at his residence, who officially released it by unveiling the pack. It was certainly a moment of triumph and pride for the legendary singer.
Mahendra Kapoor, known for his immortal patriotic tracks, has also been the lead singer in most of BR Chopra’s films. All his best songs sung for the BR Banner have been featured in this pack – songs from films like Gumrah, Dhool Ka Phool, Waqt, Hamraaz and Pati, Patni Aur Woh among others. The pack also features other gems sung by him for films like Aaye Din Bahaar Ke,Sambandh, Kaajal and Ek Nazar.
