Mumbai: Monday evening saw the coming together of the entire cast and crew of Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraaj to celebrate the success of the music album. The music has been heralded as a hit by many publications as well as by T-Series who claim the sales of the album have been through the roof.
Those present at the event included Salman Khan, Kartina Kaif, Zayed Khan, Anil Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, A.R. Rahman, Gulzaar, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Krishan Kumar.
Ghai said, "The success of the music depends upon the quality and power of music first, but more than that, it depends how it reaches to maximum people. Today we all give full marks to T-Series to make the music of Yuvvraaj heard and appreciated the world over within a month. "
While mementos to commemorate the success were exchanged between the entire cast and crew, the highlight of the evening were Nigam and Ghoshal who sang a few lines from the album. Additionally, each of the cast were given a framed picture of their character; Katrina was gifted a painting of her character in the film and Salman a signed Cello.
While the music of the film is deemed a success, it is a matter of time to see what reaction the film gathers once it releases on 21 November.
