Devi Sri Prasad On Cloud Nine Post Two Filmfare (South) Nominations

For Devi Sri Prasad, 2013 has been a great year with musical hits like Attarintiki Daredi, Mirchi and Iddarammayilatho. This super talented music director is in contention for the coveted Filmfare Award winning dual nominations in the Best Music Director category for Telugu cinema.

Devi Sri Prasad has been nominated for Pawan Kalyan‘s Attarintiki Daredi and Prabhas‘s Mirchi and is tipped to be the top contender to win the elusive black lady this year. But he will be facing stiff competition from the likes of M R Sunny for Swamy Ra Ra, Mickey J Meyer for Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Anoop Rubens for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde.

Devi Sri Prasad started off by composing tunes for college functions. He gave music to 50-50, a serial on Gemini TV and lent his voice to it’s title song. He got the big break when Magnasound featured his song Ey Unnoda in their collection of Tamil pop songs called Dance Party and post that, there has been no looking back for this talented musician.
