With the awards season having concluded recently, Allu Arjun was seen sweeping all awards despite biggies like Baahubali and Srimanthudu in the same categories. His awards include IIFA – Best Supporting Actor, CineMaa Critics Award, Filmfare Critics Award and SIIMA Best Supporting Actor. Allu Arjun‘s said, “I played a supporting role in a heroine-centric movie out of respect for cinema & respect for women“. I feel more such movies need to be made. I am happy that the decision paid back multi fold with the audience and critics loving my role as Gona Ganna Reddy in Rudhramadevi.

Speaking about the recent success Allu Arvind (producer and father of Allu Arjun) said, “Ghajini was Aamir’s biggest hit back then. Magadheera is Ram Charan’s highest grossing film. Now, I am happy that : Sarrainodu also made on our Geetha Arts banner is Allu Arjun’s highest grossing film & among the biggest hits of Telugu cinema.

Well looks like Allu Arjun‘s current brush with high stakes success has brought up front and centre not just for brands but also for a lot of international casting agents who are looking at fresh talent from the country.
