One Held For Selling Pirated DVDs Of Baahubali


BaahubaliDespite of making so many efforts against piracy, Baahubali filmmakers couldn’t stop from the illegal transaction of pirated DVDs. S.S Rajamouli’s big budget film Baahubali was the victim of the pirated DVDs that were being sold in the music store of Hyderabad.

On Sunday, the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team seized 115-pirated Hindi version DVDs of recently released film Baahubali. According to the reports, 115 DVDs were seized following the raid at a music store in the city.

Reportedly, Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force who got a tip of illegal transaction of Baahubali DVDs apprehended Mohd Siddiqu, who was allegedly found indulging in purchasing and selling pirated DVDs of ‘Baahubali. Mohd Siddiqu was than taken into custody who purchased the pirated DVDs from Adham, a DVD seller who is absconding.

The accused person was taken to Mirchowk police station along with the seized DVDs for the further investigation while the police are trying to detain Adham. Reportedly, police is on the investigation regarding circulation of pirated DVDs of newly released film Baahubali and also other recent released films.

Directed by S. S Rajamouli’s, Baahubali is the biggest film ever made in Telugu cinema with more than 200 crore budget of the film. Released on Friday, the film has become the biggest opener of 2015. The action drama film, Baahubali released in more than 3000 screens in India. On its first day, Baahubali saw over 50% footfalls in theatres.

The film, which released in four languages, has got massive response from all over. Even the servers of multiplexes crashed when online bookings were opened.
