It’s a major moment for all Chiranjeevi fans that have been longing to see the actor back on screen. Well the big news has been confirmed by sources close to director Puri Jagannadh and he will in fact be directing Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, which will mark his comeback, starting this year on the actor’s birthday.
Reportedly the film will be launched on the actor-turned-politician’s birthday on August 22. The film will go on rolls this September and is likely to release in January 2016. His son Ram Charan under his home production banner will produce the comeback film of the southern superstar, who is all set to achieve his milestone of doing 150 films in his career. BVS Ravi has penned the script of the film.
Jyothi Lakshmi actress Charmme, who is said to be in a live-in relationship with filmmaker Puri recently dropped hints on her Twitter account. She tweeted saying, “Huge confirmed good news for all Chiru fans coming out soon! I wish I cud leak it.” Talks of the actress being a part of Chiranjeevi’s 150th film have already started doing its rounds.

59-year-old megastar Chiranjeevi has worked in several films including his best hits Gang Leader, Khaidi, Indra, Shankar Dada MBBS, Stalin, Jai Chiranjeevi and Andarivaadu amongst others was last seen as a special guest in his son Ram Charan’s film Magadheera. Chiranjeevi is a member of Indian National Congress and was also the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism.
