[tps_footer]By now, we all know that S S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ is the first ever film that indulged in 500 days of making. The film became the biggest opener of 2015, soon after the release, and it was all a proud moment for the entire team of the film. The action drama film, ‘Baahubali’ released on more than 3000 screens in India. On its first day itself, ‘Baahubali’ saw over 50% footfalls in theatres.
The film invested nearly 180 days in writing the films script along with pre-production planning, as director SS Rajamouli wanted the filming to be free of errors. ‘Baahubali’, India’s largest motion picture was made on a magnificent scale. Highly advanced technology was used for the film. The VFX and special effects of the film were seen on a different level altogether, nothing less than the scale of any Hollywood film.

Catch the behind the scenes of visual effects that has been released by Makuta visuals. The company has released a video ‘Breaking Down’, some of the best scenes from the film. The video reveals how those special effects seemed to be real on the silver screen when watched. Its larger than life experience! It makes us believe that some things don’t exist in real life, but they do exist in reel life.
Must say, the entire cast and crew had a wonderful learning experience through out Baahubali’s filming journey. Not just that, you can also see in the video, how director Rajamouli has shot the waterfall sequence of Baahubali for almost 109 days. The total time that took to shoot this particular sequence was almost equal to 1/3rd of the total shooting time of the film. It was one of the most important sequence of the film.
Baahubali which starred actors Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles, released in four languages, and had got massive response from all over the world. Even the servers of multiplexes crashed when online bookings were opened.
Now we know why the film deserves to be in Oscars!
