Balika Vadhu has always believed in spreading awareness about social issues – child marriage, widow remarriage and, more recently, crime against women. Not Critics and audiences alike love the show.
Balika Vadhu, that is entertaining the audience for the past six years, has been enjoying the love and adulatsion of both the critics as well as the audiences.
On this occasion Mr. Sunjoy Waddhwa, Chief Managing Director Of Sphere Origins said, ‘I am thrilled to witness the success of the show and the exhilaration I feel to see our show touching this mark is incomparable. Sargun Mehta, who plays Ganga, came in with her real life husband Ravi Dubey and was seen having a blast with her reel life husband Shashank Vyas who essays Jagadish in the show.
Sidharth Shukla, who essays the character of Shivraj Shekhar arrived in a black leather jacket and looked debonair, while Toral Rasputra, who essays the character of Anandi, cut a chic picture in black pants and lime green halter top. She accessorized her look with blue pumps and let her hair loose for the night. She was seen posing with her on-screen sister-in-law Roop Durgapal.
Actress Smita Bansal, mother of two and who plays Sumitra in the show, looked stunning in an anarkali suit.
Anjum Farooqi, who essayed the character of Gauri in Balika Vadhu, looked pretty in the traditional ensemble. She quit the show to get married. Neha Marda, who played Gehna, also quit the show when she got married and was replaced by Nivedita Kohli.
Last but not the least, the backbone of the show, veteran actress Surekha Sikri, famous as Dadisa, was also present and was seen having a blast, very unlike her character in the show.
The other celebrities that made it to the success party of Balika Vadhu were, Sudhir Pandey, Avinash Wadhawan, producer Comall Sunjoy Wadhwa and many others.
