[tps_footer]The wait is over, the result is out and the winner of the most controversial and talked about season of Bigg Boss 7 is none other than Gauahar Khan. Gauahar was over the moon when Salman Khan announced her name as the winner of Bigg Boss 7. The winner takes home the prize money of Rs 50 lakh and a trophy.
“I wish this platform helps me gain superstardom. There is a very different feeling when people start calling you a superstar. And that’s what I had always wanted. It’s a dream come true. I feel lucky, honoured and happy to have won the show. The fifteen weeks of hard work has paid off and I feel on the seventh heaven right now,” said an elated Gauahar post her win.
This is the third reality show that Gauahar Khan has been a part of. She had earlier participated in the third season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which was followed by a reality show on UTV Bindass titled Khan Sisters where she along with her elder sister Nigar Khan took part.
In the Bigg Boss 7 house Gauahar was one of the strongest contestants and stood up for what according to her was right. Apart from winning the show, Gauahar also found true love in her co-contestant Kushal Tandon and the two openly declared their love for each other.

From day one, her archrival was Tanisha Mukherji who came a close second. Tanisha too was always in the limelight but then it was always for the wrong reasons.
“I did not expect so much love. It was an unbelievable experience. I took a risk and it paid off. I made good relations on the show. I was very happy to see my mother waiting for me. The days that I have been away from her has made me realize how much I care and love her,” stated Tanisha.
Tanuja on the other hand said, “I am proud of my daughter. For me, she has won the show, even if she did not win the title. I used to see the show everyday, as that was the only way that I could have kept in touch with her. Whenever she cried on the show, I also cried,” said a very emotional Tanuja.
Tanisha may have not won the title but then she has been offered to enter the Thirteenth Season of Big Brother. She has very little time to decide as the series commence on January 03 2014.
