[tps_footer]Bigg Boss 8 is a most awaited show. The bickering, abuse hurling, confusing tasks and celeb romances always made for an interesting watch for people who don’t otherwise watch Indian television shows. For some reason, this show has often attracted them. But this season has failed to interest many people. Even die-hard Bigg Boss fans have no interest to watch it. We try to figure out why.

1. The celebs in this season range between people we know but pretend not to to people we rather not remember. There is no Rakhi Sawant or Sambhavna or Gauhar Khan to add the zing.

2. The whole airplane setting is pointless. People are still trying to find out why the channel decided to take a plane crash as this year’s theme. It is done in very bad taste what with so many plane mishaps this year.

3. Even the tasks are lacklsutre. Sacrificing food and sleep aren’t going to lure audience to the show.

4. The whole humdrum about the Secret Society is such a hoax. It seems the channel decided to give the Bigg Boss audio some rest this season and let three people decide the fate of the contestants. But they went wrong in choosing the correct members.

5. At the premiere, even Salman Khan looks tad disinterested with the proceedings. When host is disinterested, how will it work.

Well we hope it bounces back. Many are hopeful it will but we have our doubts.
