[tps_footer]Salman Khan is the face of India’s most talked about reality TV show Bigg Boss. It is his fourth year in the running, while Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan wrapped up hosting the show with one season each.

The host of any show is not just the ‘star attraction’, but also the voice of the show. He or she is a conscious keeper of the show and Salman Khan is doing a fabulous job on this one. Yes there has been some up’s and down’s but then it’s a part and parcel of the journey.

Bigg Boss 7 by far has been one of the most controversial seasons and has irked positive as well as negative reactions for its viewers. Be it the ArmaanTanisha controversy or the romance between Kushal-Gauahar, the show has made headlines all the way.

If this was not enough, the news that is making the rounds ever since Salman Khan announced that this might be his last season as the host of the show is the fact that what would be the fate of the show without Salman Khan. Recently a leading tabloid reported that Salman Khan might produce the next season of Bigg Boss.

Well here is what we have to tell our readers:

Bigg Boss follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. It is a reality show based on the original Dutch Big Brother format developed by John de Mol. The rights to produce this show solely rests with Endemol and no one else can produce this show in this format except them. Endamol has entered into an agreement with Colors to broadcast this show on their channel and once the tenure of the agreement lapses then they may consider taking the show to any other channel if they wish so.

Just a reminder, Bigg Boss started it’s telecast on November 03, 2006 on Sony Entertainment Television, then took a one-year break and on August 17, 2008 went on air on Colors.  From then onwards it’s been with the same broadcasters.

The similar case is with Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is based on the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It’s a format of British origin, which was created in 1998 by David Briggs, Mike Whitehill, and Steven Knight. Kaun Banega Crorepati was premiered in the year 2000 on Star Plus but later moved on to Sony Entertainment Television.

Coming back to Bigg Boss, what we got to know from our sources was the fact that talks are on with Salman Khan to partner the show with Endamol so that it’s a win-win situation for both the parties because to imagine Bigg Boss without Salman Khan is like next to impossible[/tps_footer]
