[tps_footer]Karan Johar, Malaika Arora Khan and Kirron Kher make a perfect trio to judge India’s Got Talent or IGT as we all call it. In its fifth season, IGT helps participants showcase their talent on such a huge platform. This year there would be an addition on the show. Apart from the customary RED BUZZER, there would be a GOLDEN BUZZER that provides the talent with a direct entry to semi-finals by judges.
“For me, talent needs to inspire but also shake up the preconceived notions of excellence. Whether it is dance, singing or any other creative act, I will look for talent that enthralls and entertains me. This year competition will be exciting. I don’t judge but I offer my creative opinion as a director. For me, to judge the talent, I have to be better at that myself. So all I can judge is stage impact,” stated Karan Johar who has been apart of this talent hunt the second consecutive year.
Malaika Arora Khan too feels honoured and privileged to be a part of this show and said, “It’s a challenge to judge a show of this magnitude where one participant is better than the other. I am really looking forward to having some fun this season.”
Kirron Kher, who has been the part of this show since the time it started feels an emotional connect to all the talent hat comes on the say and said, “I am very impressed and proud with the variety of talent this year. The three of us bring warm vibes on the show and there is no sense of competition. We had different people here, but the warmth that Malaika and Karan bring on the show is different. And our bonding translates on screen.”

Kirron, Sonali Bendre and Shekhar Kapur judged the first season of India’s Got Talent. In the second, Sajid Khan joined them and in the third season, Dharmendra replaced Sajid. This year the show will have Bharti Singh and Mantra as hosts. This is the first time that
Karan and Malaika entered the show as judges in the fourth season.
India’s Got Talent Season 5, premiers on January 11, 2014 and it will be telecast every Saturday and Sunday at 09:00 pm on Colors.
