[tps_footer]Varun Dhawan and Ileana D’Cruz were at on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil to shoot a special episode to promote their upcoming film, Main Tera Hero.
When Varun and Ileana came on the sets of the show, they decided to turn the tables on the team of Comedy Nights With Kapil and made them roll out with laughter.
Varun walked in wearing a fake belly and a wig to look like an old man and copied his filmmaker father David Dhawan’s mannerisms. Unleashing his funny side, Varun cracked a few jokes and as an old man tried to fool around having a blast with Dadi, and instead of the customary Dadi kissing him, Varun first kissed Dadi and then made sure that Dadi would kiss every guest on the show.
This was the second time that Ileana came on Comedy Nights With Kapil. Ileana’s last outing on Kapil’s show was with actor Shahid Kapoor for the promotion of her last film Phata Poster Nikla Hero.
Main Tera Hero is directed by Varun’s father, David Dhawan who is known for his bawdy brand of comedies in the nineties.
Varun, excited about his new film stated, “Comedy comes naturally to me and I have been able to display my style of comedy in this film.”
On the other hand, Ileana is happy with the way Main Tera Hero has shaped up but then stated that she misses having friends in Bollywood.
“The one thing that I have sadly realized is when people are working with you they are your best friends. Once a film is over the friendship is also over. This is a painful process for someone who thinks friendships are for a lifetime.” informed Ileana.
Main Tera Hero that stars Varun Dhawan as Sreenath Prasad, Ileana D’Cruz as Sunaina and Nargis Fakhri as Ayeshais. It is a romantic comedy and a remake of Telugu film Kandireega that released in 2011.
Main Tera Hero is set to release on April 04, 2014.[/tps_footer]
