Bigg Boss 8: Day 68 Recap: On Gautam Gulati's Birthday

[tps_footer]It was a Happy Birthday of Gautam Gulati in the Bigg Boss 8 house. The morning started with a song that wished Gautam Happy Birthday. Puneet Issar was seen dancing and celebrating Gautam‘s birthday.

While Upen Patel was the one to stop Puneet Isaar and Ali Quili Mirza‘s major fight in the Bigg Boss 8 house, and Karishma Tanna was the one trying to explain Ali to stop behaving stupid by trying to leave the house, the duo just weren’t ready to listen to Ali. As Ali had also hurt Sonali Raut, and Sonali returned the favour, Ali triedtalking things out with her too, but again it was only a futile attempt. He later even spoke to Dimpy, but Dimpy was too hurt to listen to him.

As Ali had approached Bigg Boss earlier for violence (the slap) through Sonali, Bigg Boss made a decision. The decision remained to nominate Sonali throught the Bigg Boss 8 season.

In all the chaos, the Bigg Boss 8 contestants lost the luxury task, and yet again they get no luxury budget for the week!

The ex captains of Bigg Boss 8 house were asked to rule out names that they found unfit to become the next captain, in the order from the latest captain to the oldest captain.

Hence Puneet Issar, the latest captain of the Bigg Boss 8 house nominated Pritam out of captaincy because Puneet had an ideology of not wasting Pritam‘s immunity by nominating him for captaincy.

Then came Gautam who chose to eliminate Karishma Tanna from the captaincy race, because Gautam wanted to see a captain who he felt would be more fit for captaincy this week. This, however did not go too well with Karishma Tanna, as Gautam tried to straighten Karishma‘s ideology, but Karishma chose to think about Gautam‘s personal rivalry with her.

Diandra went ahead and opened Praneet‘s bottle, as she felt that Praneet himself isn’t interested in being the captain of the Bigg Boss 8 house. This led to discussions amongst loverbirds Diandra and Gautam, as to why Gautam nominated Karishma and Diandra nominated Praneet. Out of the discussion, Diandra suddenly turned the conversation into a competition amongst the most courageous, and she took the step of taking Gautam into the bathroom and giving him his birthday gift (Bigg Boss 8 With Salman Khan: Diandra And Gautam Get Intimate In The Bathroom?)

Upen chose to keep Renee and Sonali in the captaincy race as they helped Upen become a captain of the Bigg Boss 8 house, hence he eliminated Dimpy from the race.

As Ali was the first captain of the house, he got the opportunity to take revenge by eliminating Sonali from the Bigg Boss 8 captaincy race. Hence, Renee became the new captain of the Bigg Boss 8 house.

After much drama, 3 boys- Upen, Gautam and Praneet were made to play a game of football, which made Upen win the Garnier Fructis trophy.

The night also ended with the most loved Gautam being approached by Sonali while he and Puneet were making elaichi milk to get some goodnight sleep. Sonali told Gautam, “You like me, but I love you. That’s the difference.”

Woah! That was a suprise (we sure hope it was not only for his birthday), because Gautam- Diandra were just getting started!
