[tps_footer]Hasee Toh Phasee, which is gearing up for a February release, is seeing the promotional rounds commence. Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will naturally be spotted all over town in the coming weeks at malls, movie theatres, making appearances on television shows, parties, events and radio stations.
For starters, Sidharth and Parineeti looked fresh and alive while promoting the film on the sets of Dance India Dance Season 4. They posed for photographs, interacted with the media, and generally had a ball of a time being goofy for the cameras.
Considering Parineeti plays the role of a scientist in the film, she was dressed most unlike her part. She wore a bottle green Halston Heritage outfit with her hair tied back and jewellery from Anmol Jewellers completed the look.
Sidharth Malhotra, looked cool in a semi-formal look wearing a grey T-shirt, blue jacket and custom dirtied jeans, sounded very upbeat as he launched the song Shake It Like Shammi from Hasee Toh Phasee. He said that the dance number is not exactly a tribute to late dancing star Shammi Kapoor and felt that the show was a perfect platform to launch a dance number.
“It’s exactly not a tribute to Shammi Kapoorji. We have just used a lyrical that how Shammiji used to charm girls with his shake-moves. There is a similar situation in the film where I try to impress a girl by shaking it like Shammiji”, said the actor.
“The song is like a retro, rock-and-roll kind of a song. Since it is a dance show, we thought it’s a perfect platform to launch our song,” stated Parineeti.

For Sidharth, Hasee Toh Phasee is special as the film is being produced by Karan Johar and also because of this film he got a chance to be back home in Delhi, his home town, as a large part of the film was shot there.
The film is directed by adman Vinil Mathew and is set to hit the theatres on February 07, 2014.[/tps_footer]
