Of what we gathered from Anil Kapoor, he is set to soon start with the second season. Anil essays the role of an Anti Terrorist Unit Chief, Jai Singh Rathod.
“The second season will start very soon. We will work even harder and will try to create an even better product,” said a very happy and elated Anil Kapoor.
Anil is very happy to have taken the decision of doing television and said that till date he has not received as much appreciation for his film that he has received for his television series 24.
“The journey so far has been satisfying. It has been good, I have never been appreciated this much. People have liked the show. The best thing is that everyone has been appreciated. Sometimes in films only you (one actor) are appreciated and people say the film ran because of you. But in this show everyone has done really well,” added Anil.
“I am extremely pleased and proud of our effort and we will go all out to make sure that the second season is much better. We will rectify and improve upon whatever mistakes we made in the first one,” said the very confident actor-producer Anil Kapoor.
Sources told us, that the content of season two has not yet been finalized and the stakeholders and producers shall get together next month to decide on the details.
Anil also said that he is planning to let his acting take a back seat post he wraps up his assignments from 2016 onwards as he wants himself to be available for his kids whenever they need him.
24 is an adaptation of the hit American television series by the same name. The show is based on a twenty four hour format where one season spans over twenty four episodes chronicling twenty four hours.
On one hand we would like to congratulate Anil and his team for 24 but on the other hand we wonder if the broadcasters would venture into the second season of the series because the first season fell flat on TRPs.
