[tps_footer]Vidya Balan, who is basking in the success of her latest film Shaadi Ke Side Effects has teamed up with Star Plus on the occasion of International Women’s Day for a special programmed titled No More Kamzor.
Vidya Balan looked stunning in her trademark sari during the shoot of No More Kamzor, an episode for Women’s Day on Star Plus.
No More Kamzor, is a show which will talk of women who have struggled and overcome problems.
“The programme that we are doing is titled No More Kamzor and it’s especially designed for girls of all ages. We started with children and I recited a poem with them. It was just wonderful energy,” Vidya said post the shoot of the show.
Vidya, stated that the stories she came across while shooting for the show were truly inspiring.
“All the women who came on the show are an example for all of us. They inspired us, some stories didn’t seem real but they actually faced problems and today they are living their life on their own terms. That is a big thing,” Vidya said.
Post the shoot, Vidya interacted with media and said that the four women who she looks up to are her mother Saraswathy Balan, her mother-in-law Salome Roy Kapur, her elder sister Priya Balan and her niece Ira.

Vidya Balan stated that getting married to Siddharth Roy Kapur has made her realize her responsibilities as a woman and as a homemaker.
I love living with Siddharth. I am going through a time of discovery. Apart from discovering each other, I am also getting insights into small things. There were certain things that I took for granted, like my mother running the house all these years. I value it more now since I have realised what goes in handling the running of a house. It is a beautiful time for me.” said Vidya.
